Hello,
Northern California Research is currently conducting a 5 year long Gout clinical research trial in the greater Sacramento area. We are investigating two FDA approved Gout medications to determine which is more effecting in treating Gout symptoms as well as dereasing cardiac risks in those who have a history of vascular disease.
Study Information:
- Length: 5 years
- Office Visits: 9-20 required visits to the office.
- Compensation: up to $1,000
- Study Cost: NONE. All study medication, lab exams, monitoring and doctor assessmentsare at not cost to you.

The majority of research studies are conducted in multiples sites across the nation so I am confident that you will find a study site.

In that discussion, I had ideas about creating a better gout clinical trials update service (i.e. a single comprehensive list). There doesn't seem to be much interest in this (e.g. no reporting back from participants or organizers).
Are there enough people interested to make it worth the effort of a permanent feature? If so, is a page in the reference section enough, or would email notification for specific locations be required?

I am open to both a permanent feature in the reference page as well as an email notification. Please let me know what information you would need from me and I would be happy to work with you. I can also request my study sponsors to get a comprehensive list of all study sites through out the nation where the same Gout study is conducted.
