One year flare up free- checking in to say thanks!

Hi guys.? Haven't checked in in a long time because I have had zero gout symptoms for about a year.? Just wanted to say hi and give a big thanks to Keith and to zip.? I was in major despair and hobbling with a cane for 6 months when I could get out of bed. Doctors were no help.? Keith and Zip pointed me in the right direction.? My UA had been almost 10 for quite some time but with Uloric, I have been below 6 for over a year and symptom free.? I also took a half a colchicine every day for months and then periodically if I felt a potentially flare up but haven't even needed that for months.? (Not plugging Uloric-? Allopurinol is the answer for most people- I happened to have a reaction to it).

?

So thanks again to Keith, Zip, and others.? To all those still suffering, hang in there.? There is hope.
